Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal is one of the most discussed movies of recent times. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the action thriller was released in theatres in 2023 and last year, everyone was discussing the movie because of its violent scenes, with some claiming that it is quite misogynistic in nature. While the debates and discussions kept happening, the buzz of the movie kept growing each time, and now it looks like MS Dhoni is also getting into ‘animal’ mode.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni has channelled his inner animal with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. For a bicycle commercial, the cricketer and the director duo have collaborated and recreated scenes from Ranbir Kapoor’s 2023 blockbuster. We even see Dhoni mouthing some dialogues from Ranbir’s movies. The long hair, the intense look, and the dramatic entries resemble Ranbir’s character, Ranvijay, quite well.
As soon as the commercial was out online, a lot of people reacted to it. The video also became a topic of discussion on Reddit. One user wrote, “Absolute Cinema. Another commented, “Domestic Animal by Vanga. PS – All those controversial interviews & statements are working well in Vanga’s favor. He has become famous and now doing ads with big names too. Also the creative teams of these brands deserves appreciation too.”
