Lagos meets Paris. From May 7 to 11, The NollywoodWeek Film Festival is back in the French capital for its 2025 edition. This year, the festival is under the patronage of acclaimed actress and activist Aïssa Maïga. She joins our programme to talk about the festival’s programme and the ongoing development of the African film industry. She also talks about her next film, “Promised Sky”, which will open the “Un Certain regard” section at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
